Currently, the spread of seva initiatives of Seva Bharati is limited to the 12 villages and slums in Ichalkaranji city.
Seva Bharati has plans to expand these services to more needy villages and slums. Looking to the need and demand from nearby area, Seva Bharati aims at doubling of its seva activities in near future. Accordingly it has developed a close tie-up with other well known likeminded organizations.
A well equipped 32 bedded hospital with ICU, OT, Diagnostic center, in house Pathological lab supported with ambulance with ICU is coming up. The construction work of this hospital is in progress. It is expected that by the end of this year (December 2010) this hospital should be ready to provide quality health services at comparatively lower rates for the needy people of the society.
The budget for the first phase of this hospital is Rs. 1.5 crores while for the second phase it’s Rs. 5 crores. Secondly, the school run by Seva Bharati is up to the primary level. Seva Bharati has plans to expand the same up to the high school level.
